I have never seen a dahlia darker than this one!! The flowers are of the decorative type, and have characteristics of the so-called waterlily-dahlias.That means closing (sleeping) flowers in the evening and an excellent vaselife. These flowers can be cut at an immature stage, wich increases it's durability. A very uncommon cutflower whith a very uncommon colour.
